Presonus Audiobox Itwo With Garageband Ipad
Hi all, I just bought an Audiobox itwo and connected the same via a USB-lightning cable to an iPad on which I am using Garageband. This connection seems to work fine, audio signals get through in both directions. Using the PreSonus Audiobox iTwo - Can the audio from my iPad be routed into my DAW? Does the USB-C interfaces work with iPad Pro and Multitrack in GarageBand? Does Studio 68c work with iPad Pro 12.9 and GarageBand? Can the AudioBox i2 midi input be used as a keyboard controller for GarageBand on iPad? My AudioBox iTwo microphone isnt coming up. I've just got a PreSonus AudioBox iOne that I want to use to hook up my electric guitar to record on Garageband on my MacBook Pro. The AudioBox is hooked up to the USB port. All lights are on. In MacBook Preferences, the AudioBox is selected as the sound input and output device. When I strum my guitar, it registers audio levels. In System Preferences, I have the iTwo AudioBox selected for Audio in and out. In Garageband Audio Preferences, I have System settings for Audio in and out. I Choose New Track from GarageBand Menu 5. I Choose Record Guitar or Bass Amp using Garageband as Amp 6. Select the Details button and choose the correct input channel (Input 2) 7.
Okay, I had to take it back to the guitar store, where it took the guy an hour of messing around to figure it out.
Dec 15, 2016 I just got Izotope RX 5 Advanced. I’m trying to use the RX Monitor plugin with RX Connect on Sequoia 12. I managed to get RX Connect working so that it sends part of the sound clip over to the RX side but no luck with RX Monitor. Use izotope 5 rx with sequioua.
This is the key—When you create a new guitar project upon opening up GarageBand, YOU CANNOT USE THE GUITAR TRACK THAT GARAGEBAND AUTOMATICALLY CREATES FOR YOU.

You have to create a new track, and then choose 'Electric Guitar' and then click the little triangle next to 'Instrument Setup' then choose 'Mono Channel 2' in order to use the 'Inst 2' input on the AudioBox ('Mono Channel 1' is for the microphone).
